Vintage Sybil Connolly Pleated Jacket, Skirt, & Belt Suit Set

Sybil Connolly, a Dublin-based fashion designer was well-distinguished for creating haute couture with Irish textiles. Sybil's trademark was pleated linen, which she created by finely pleating up to nine yards of linen handkerchiefs to produce one yard of delicate fabric. Her pieces are currently displayed in the Hunt Museum in Ireland.
